UPDATE: The deadline for applications is tomorrow. After that, they are gonna start deciding on their top 3! I'm third in comments right now with 116, Darrell has 161, and Kelly has 147. So like... 160, 150, 120, 90, 85 at the moment.
The final three is being selected by the credit union's Human relations, public relations, and marketing teams. We've been told that we can be judged on our application alone, so the 1 minute video and the blog entry. I am the only entrant to submit three additional videos, and I think they're all pretty solid videos. I think my degree in marketing, young look, and intelligence will be good for the shortlisting. They then told us
"Do comments count?"
"Yes. Both the quantity and the quality give us a glimpse into your character and your network. etc. blah blah."
That's the only reason I'm really trying to get a bunch here at the end. I just don't want Darrell to have 100 more comments than everyone and get like an automatic bid to the final three. I want people with LESS comments than me because the next phase is open internet voting!

Update! The job contest has passed its deadline for new applicants. I am one of 27 candidates, but I think only 6-8 of them are even worth considering, me included.
Also, they have told us that the winner is going to receive a BRAND NEW CAR to drive for a year with free gas and insurance, so now I want to win even more. Open voting starts on March 23rd, but for now you can still leave supportive comments at Young Free SC - Blog =D
Good luck in the competition! It also looks like one of your main competitors is getting a lot of comments because he is a youth minister, i.e. I like him because he's a Christian, not just because of his qualifications.
Yep, yep. At one point we both had 100 comments, and he turned on the juice. He has like 170 one-line comments, which is more than my total comments. =\
