Which date is Cannon?

I've always wondered which amusement park date was "cannon" with the series?

Well personally, I think the Tifa date needs to be fired at with a cannon. It could have been much better!

The Aerith date is the easiest to get, so I guess that'd be canon.

Seeing as there are guides to get Tifa, Yuffie or Barret, but none to get Aerith, I'm guessing that Aerith is supposed to be the original choice.

I say Aerith only because she croaks, so Tifa gets to be physically in it more. Let her shine while she has the chance.

Although I like how it works with any of the dates - the end's still the same, it's just a slightly different detail of the journey. Unless they specifically address the issue in a later installment - for instance, Vincent getting insanely jealous when Yuffie mentions a secret date with Cloud where she kissed him on the cheek - then perhaps we'll never know for sure.
