Trema vs. Sin?
Well I just completed the Via Infinito for the first time (yay me) and I'm wondering something.
But first, did Trema destroy Paragon?
YouTube - Trema Battle Part 2
Is it like poof after he attacked it? I can't tell because of my horrible eyesight and I want to make sure.
But if he did, the scan of Paragon says he is "the strongest fiend of all time." And Trema just WTFpwned him.
I know Sin isn't technically a fiend and probably not really an aeon either but I just wondered if the old codger could fight Sin.
I mean I hear about Vegnagun vs. Sin a lot but never this guy and in both story and gameplay he's supposed to be incredibly strong. Probably the strongest "human" in Spira.
EDIT:
This is just a little thought of mine on Trema's power and I'm wondering if anyone here has an opinion on it.
I'm just speaking in terms of the storyline.
Now Paine says, and it's confirmed when you Scan Trema, that he has the power to control fiends. This power is not explained as far as I know but I have a theory.
When he's speaking to YRP, he creates the image behind himself to illustrate a point. I figured he did this through pyreflies so I took that idea and made my little half-assed theory.
Fiends, and most things in Spira, are made of pyreflies. So if Trema can control the pyreflies to such an extent, he can manipulate them, and by extension the fiend they compose, to do his bidding.
This would also explain the presence of spirts we know were Sent to the Farplane such as Jyscal and Yunalesca. Trema used his power over pyreflies, which also can be souls I think as people are made of them too, and brought them back to this realm of existence.
Or maybe I'm just searching for a plausble reason why either of them would be there....
