How do you answer the phone?

"moshi moshi?"

This and Hallo!, as in the line from Labyrinth

I've talked to a number of Japanese people on the phone, and none have ever answered with "moshi moshi". If I ever hear that on the phone, I'll probably be immediately and prejudicially biased against the person on the other end, on the basis that they're incurably weea</>boo.
