GoBo & Matt. A great setup! I would have just had one more pro mafia role, like a traitor. That would have made the game a bit more balanced in my opinion.

Also am I the only one who got the Italian Flag reference in the role colors? xD

I figured the addition of Self Centered would make it more equal. With that setup mafia could've won if they where sneaky during the day. That's what I wanted, make the mafia think.

Maybe something we could do to make the mafia more cunning is to hand out roles a few days before the game begins. That way mafia will be able to talk before they get thrown into Day 1 all of a sudden. As we've done it up until now they won't get the chance to effectively talk until Night 1 at least, and by then the damage from Day 1 may have already been done.

Outside of EoFF, some do (I think it's a popular rule at mafiascum.net?) and some don't. But outside of EoFF, the hosts vary a lot of rules, though. Like some don't give you a full flip of people who are lynched, some don't let you lynch unless you have a majority, some announce the set up before it begins, etc. etc. Our games here at EoFF are pretty much identical.
