Do you enjoy sketch comedy shows?

I like some. I watch Saturday Night Live regularly. I like how people perceive SNL's prime to have been five or ten years ago, no matter what year it is.

I'm also a big fan of Kids in the Hall. The single greatest thing to come from Canada, if you ask me. They were always great in drag, but Bruce was the best. Their comedy is more based on zaniness than current events, unlike SNL, so it's possible to watch old episodes and still laugh. The theme song was cool, too.

Generally I'm not a big fan of sketch shows. One's from America in particular are often dire. I think if you have a sketch show it's best to keep the sketches short, something which MadTV struggles to grasp. My all-time favourite is easily The Fast Show.

Lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky me again! I hardly knew I should use me feet again!

What do you have to say for yourself?
