Yes, I watch American Dad, and in the most recent episode Roger the Alien says to not "Mr. Belvadere" oneself. Urban Dictionary gives a couple definitions, but I can't seem to find any reason online as to how this term originated.

Probably originated from the sitcom about Mr Belvedere being an english butler trying to fit in.
