4 white mages!! It'll never work!

I played up to the Marsh Cave on an NES copy once but got bored of it and stopped.

It can be done. I also know people have solo'd a White Mage, but that requires a lot of luck. As for the four White Mages, you'll have to be patient as battles take a long time. Also, items that cast offensive spells are your friends.

it can be done i beat the game with just mages didnt even get them into Wizards that is hard try it

I remember doing this on the NES when I was in high school. Of course, I didn't have the patience for that as a kid, but I felt like giving it a try when I was 15 or so. It took a ridiculous amount of time, and it's safe to say that I never want to do that again. But aside from that, I've always been a fan of game challenges like trying to get to the final boss on level 1 [if possible], speed records, and other handicaps that make it fun.

Try beating Ninja Gaiden Black with just the Nunchaku!
