Pikachu, zap!
I am always giving people electric shocks, my friends actually believe I conduct electricity. I really don't understand how electric shocks between people happen, someone clever and good at Science should enlighten me on the subject.
It's actually really embarrasing for me! Does anyone else share this pikachu ability?

When I touch a car door I get an electric shock alot, but other than that i'm static-less.

My cat hates because of it. Pet, pet, pet *SHOCK* pet, pet, pet, *SHOCK*. And my chair's always shocking me too and my car door and my house door. A bunch of stuff shocks me xD

A static charge builds up along your body until it reaches the discharge load of 10 kV (or 20, I forgot), which allows electron emission from your body by ionizing the air between your finger and whatever ground is available(usually something metal).

I work in a supermarket and the plastic carrier bags always give me shocks.
Parker supermarkets are a lot worse for shocks, pull a manual pump truck anywhere and zaaap! Pull a roll cage anywhere and it's like zap zap zaaaaaaaaaaaap! I get so many electric shocks from where I work in HMV, seriously we have started to wonder if I could power a LPO's radio.
