I have not been properly tickled for years and years. Nowadays people seem to think that sticking your fingers as hard as you can in my sides is a proper way of tickling, but they don't know how wrong they are. That's just unpleasant and it usually hurts. Regular tickling can be fun, but I'm not incredibly ticklish.

Also am slightly ticklish but have taught myself how to resist. It's not at all difficult. Anyone who can't teach themselves to not react to tickling is a closet acarophile imo. I tickle those who I know to be ticklish if I need to force them into submission >) 'tis the greatest weapon.

I've tried to teach myself to be immune to tickling. I can withstand being tickled in the main tickle points for around 5 seconds. However, soon after, I will likely go nuts. Once, my friends and I were on a trampoline, when all of a sudden, they tickle-ambushed me! I chucked them all over the place.
