Predictions? Favorites? Hopes?

I'm personally most interested in Detroit vs Columbus. Both Columbus and Detroit kinda limped their way into the post-season. I'm sure my Jackets can take out Detroit if they pull their heads out of their asses unlike the past few weeks. Osgood isn't that great.

In the East I'm rooting for Washington. Exciting team to watch!

Stanley cup... What a crappy name for a tournament...I like the Red Wings , they brought me a few bucks at the betting house. What fascinates me about hockey is the fact that the crappiest team can destroy the favorite team much easier than in any other sport.

The Blackhawks won't beat the Canucks. We had their number all year. It should be a good series though.

Being the Michigan child that I am, I always throw my support behind the wings. I didn't anticipate that they'd do so well in the first round of the playoffs. It's the same thing that happened last year. Osgood can get his mind together perfectly or just blow it. Against whom do they play next?

I don't think I'd care too much if the Wings do blow it; we won last year, and that will keep me satisfied for another season or two. Can't say I'm the most die-hard sports fan.
