Everything about that song is great and sorrowful. I think it makes me even sadder that it was actually written by Waters portraying his father's death in the war.
    yes!
The Final Cut - Pink Floyd
The Little Things Give You Away - Linkin Park
I made one myself for a change! Although you can probably tell that..

Ok heres a few songs I love to listen to when I'm down or if I'm in the mood for some depressing music:

Goodnight ~ Dry Kill Logic This used to be a song I'd sing when getting my nephew to go sleep he loved me singing the vocals on this song so much so that he'd fall asleep in a few mins of me doing so.

You look so fine ~ Garbage The acoustic is much more sad but the original is pretty sad too.

Somewhere ~ Within Temptation I have to admit that this isn't my favourite video for it but I love the song it's got "that" quality to it that makes you choke up.

I got like a million sad songs, I pretty much listen to sad songs all the time. I tend to find when I'm down I listen to sad music to cheer myself up.

Same, I really hate her version of the song. They made it sound too uplifting and epic when that's really not what the song is about.

    Michale Graves- Return to Earth
    and
Michale Graves - When We Were Angels

    Both great songs.
You hold my heart in your manly hands I wanna feel the throb of your handsome gland. I wanna hold you tight like a newborn kitten, against my flesh like a cashmere mitten. Tickly tick, I'm makin' skin bump heaven and all the way down it's lookin' cleanly shaven. Prickety pricks, it's stubble on stubble I better slow down or I'm in real trouble. Want you, touch you, feel you, taste you! Knick knack whacky whack 'till I see the man stew. spin you around let me see that hole! I'm a tunnelin' in a like a short hair mole. Once I'm inside I'm gonna leave a trace, half in there and half on that face! One finger, two finger, there fingers gone! Mano a mano I love you John!

Leonard Cohen did the original. I don't care for the original so much as Jeff Buckley's or Rufus Wainright's cover of it.

    Also:

Land Lock Blues - Bright Eyes
Weak in the Knees - Serena Ryder
My Heart Cries for You - Serena Ryder
Album of the Year - The Good Life
Your Love Song - Angela Aki
モラルの葬式 (Moral's Funeral) - Angela Aki
    My Immortal - Evanescence
