The first time you meet the Red Gear always stands out but seriously; there are too many damn good moments in this game.

When you finally go to the Solaris capitol is also smurfing awesome from beginning to end. The first time in Shevat, the battle arena in Kislev. Retaking Aveh. The Wells the Thames and of course.

I have always liked the parts Id was in, but I liked Citan. His 'betrayal' and his return with his Sword... The man is as mean as he is intelligent.

    yeah i'd agree with Zechs

the whole Citan betrayal came to me as a shock! and to think he was my favorite character (besides Fei, of course). but yeah, when he got back and was even using a sword, damn, i forgave him haha

I loved every moment of this game, and every beautiful song. The few moments that come to mind are. (SPOILER) The sacrifice of Matreya and that whole scene. The game has a bit of a change at that point. When Id lifts the Yggdrasil and throws it, it really looks like Bart and co. are going to die. That whole transition from this scene you think will be a great victory and how horribly it fails is an amazing moment.

The Burning of Lahan village and Fei's breakdown, poor Alice.

I love all the flashbacks with Lacan and Sophia

The end of the first disc when grahf saves Elly and watches on. It's such an intriguing moment for this character as you wonder what his motives are and who this person really is.

I could go on and on.

    Anything involving Seraphita.

Although there are many awesome things as well, many previously stated.

There are plenty of good times to be had (Bledavik, Bart's Hideout, etc.) but I'd have to say my favoritiest faves relate to Thames, Shevat, and Solaris events. Thames is just a rollicking sea adventure and has some memorable NPCs, most notably the captain; Shevat is just a mythical city, and the long climb up Babel Tower -- also awesome -- is definitely worth it. And finally, Solaris, which manages to be about 3-4 dungeons rolled into one. The "capture twist" is pretty awesome, too. I guess when it boils down, all of Disc 1 is incredible entertainment; Disc 2 just can't live up to its standards, sadly.

I was away over due for a replaythrough. I'm changing my vote to that too. Even though Chu-chu getting crucified is funny.
