    Default Dear EoFF:

Thank you for being broken on the last day I had to finish my research paper. If the forums weren't broken, I would have procrastinated more and I'd have never finished.

Topic: Do you work better with or without distractions?
Topic 2: Do you procrastinate a lot?

    I do better without.

Tuesdays the only day I get stuff done.
    WoW's down on Tuesdays.

I'd be interested to know how someone would work better with distraction.

I procrastinate with some things, but not others. Depends on how high a priority it is and also any impacts it might have, eg. financially.

I know some people who can't work if it's too quiet.

I can't work if it's quiet. But it's needs to be radio. I have a very small attention span and if I need to get work done I can't have the TV on, even just for White Noise, cause I'll end up watching it.

I procrastinate all the time. But I am very stubborn and will get work done if someone calls me out on it.

I work in short, intensive bursts. I get a huge amount done in those times, but I do usually need solitude and not silence, but quiet (The hum of a computer is pretty much perfect, fortunately enough!)

I can't remember the last time I wasn't procrastinating over something.

    I need music to work.

In other words, they find the silence distracting, which brings me back to my first point. It's weird!

I love distractions. I can't work without them.

I used to take a billion breaks in a day and still came out ahead.

Nowadays I do all of my work in one marathon and then slack off the rest of the day.

In terms of procrastination, that's the best way -- procrastinate until it's all due then smash it all in one big drop kick of work ethics.

    Then back to slack.

    Success!

    Yes and yes

Well it's not procrastinating if you never do it at all, is it? So no.
