Default "Breaking Dawn" (Twilight saga's 4th book) Up For Two Children's Choice Book Awards?!

    ?!?!?!

Yes, let's vote for Breaking Dawn for two Children's Choice Book Awards.

If you are unaware this book contains sex (a lot of sex) and an extremely graphic birthing scene in which Bella vomits blood, her spine snaps, Edward has to rip her uterus open with his teeth, and then he crushes her rib cage while performing CPR.

What the holy smurf are people thinking.

Please tell me you're not lying about this. That almost sounds... good. Still a 12 year old outcast girl's wet dream novel, but still... that almost sounds like it's worth my interest. That can almost make up for the vicious castration Stephanie Meyer inflicted upon what used to be a cool concept of vampires.

Someone please talk me out of this.

Sparkling vampires. If you're seriously tempted to read any book that contains those, you're beyond hope.

That said, Breaking Dawn sounds like it treads awfully close to "so bad it's good" territory, but only as snark material.

    B-but sex and a spine-cracking, blood-vomiting, womb-thrashing birthing scene?!

I read all the books and they read like they were written by a 9 year old with down syndrome. Do not read.

The scenes where the vampires are fighting in the sunlight and their sparkly bodies reflect rainbows across the forest... AHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Just cave and read it Momiji. Little girl porn can be fun.

Actually, you could just skip the first three books and still get Breaking Dawn just fine.

But you'll miss all the great thinks about Edward. He has a favorite meadow!

This thread makes me feel violated...Twilight makes me feel violated. Then again, I did not read the books and just passing judgement on by what others have told me. I do value the opinion of these others.
