What the holy smurf are people thinking.

Please tell me you're not lying about this. That almost sounds... good. Still a 12 year old outcast girl's wet dream novel, but still... that almost sounds like it's worth my interest. That can almost make up for the vicious castration Stephanie Meyer inflicted upon what used to be a cool concept of vampires.

Someone please talk me out of this.

    B-but sex and a spine-cracking, blood-vomiting, womb-thrashing birthing scene?!
If I recall correctly, when Bella was injected with vampire venom her blood pretty much turned into a thick sludge, causing her incredible burning pain

And aside what is technically necrophilia, Edward also suggest that Bella should have an abortion, while simultaneously suggesting beastiality and polygamy with the werewolf. And also, Jacob shortly thereafter goes Michael Jackson on the baby. (Well, not quite. But close enough.) I think she was trying to see just how many social taboos she could kick in the teeth with one book.

    Does this help at all?

(Though I must say, I found the ending extremely disappointing D=<)
