Short hair is a lot of maintenance. Be prepared to blow dry and straighten if you go there. I recommend cutting to shoulder length, and then getting a perm. Curly long-ish hair.

If you can't bear to do it, layer your hair. Personally I'd like to curl it outwards a little. (Think Selphie but less curlyness and more spread out)
If you don't wanna cut, however, dying and highlighting is the way to go. <3
