Have you ever set Balthier up like this:

Javelin II
Escutcheon II
Thief's Cap
Mirage Vest
Brigand's Gloves

(Speed = 19)

Jump, Adrenaline Rush, Concentration, Lifefont

Jump will be super strong and have a shorter charge time, speed will go higher from adrenaline, Concentration could be replaced Attack Boost, but with Javelin II... Lifefont allows easier healing.

With this setup you can Jump almost constantly!

Sometimes, I'll use Poach. I just like to Poach stuff for reason, don't ask why...

Why do you have concentrate equipped all? Jump has a 100% chance to hit. Also, the Escutcheon II is kind of wasted on someone who spends so much time in the air.

I gave my Javelin II to Luso, seeing as he (to me) has the least utility without overpowered items.
