    I'm no judge of acting ability, but Matthew Morrison seems pretty damn solid to me. Hell, all three of them really make their characters amazingly lively. Sue is one of my favorites; she's dastardly but has just enough good moments to keep her interesting.

    My only beef with Jane Lynch is that she always gets pretty much the same character. But she does it well, so no biggie.

Truthfully, the lack of cliffhangers makes me more excited to continue than if they had frustratingly left a bunch of new or current storylines tensely open. They left some stuff open to be continued, but not a ton.
