Default High Voltage Software: The Grinder

so whether anyone is following it or not, High Voltage Software will be releasing their first big Wii game next month: The Conduit. While most of the board when it was first announced did not find it very impressive, I disagreed. However this new game being developed called: The Grinder, should spark some interest:
    Few quick points:
Four player online co-op, with 4 unique characters
currently at least 65 in game enemies on screen at once
Wii-motion plus with melee (most likely a sword)

It looks pretty tight. I think it does seem like a L4D ripoff in concept but that's not necessarily a bad thing, since you're really not going to see any other game try the same thing with the Wii remote.

I forgot these guys did Hunter: The Reckoning. You can really tell its influence there, though.

Anyways, I'm pretty excited. Too bad it's so far off still. I'm not really interested in their gladiator game, but this seems like it's going to be pretty solid. Now everyone needs to go out and buy The Conduit so that publishers have confidence these guys can make a hit and sign them on.

Similar to the Conduit, this game will only get media hype because its a FPS on the Wii which can stand toe to toe in content and features with FPS's on the other platforms. Both look average if you ask me.

The Conduit looks more impressive to me, but The Conduit is also further along in development. I'd like to see more enemy variety, personally.

The video really makes it look rough. It's obvious it's really early in development and I'm surprised they showed off as much as they did. Oh, well. The Conduit looked pretty rough when it was first shown off, I guess. Just not quite that bad.
