I can't get the ff7 mt.corel train to stop!

i know wat the computer said and that is exactly what i am doing! i am pressing up and triangle at the same time then down and X at the same time! but nothing happens his hands aren't moving. ive also tried amny oher combinations! wat could i be doing wrong??!!!!!!:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::mad2:

Ugh I hate this damn train. One of the parts I hate the most.

From my experience the prompt on the screen does indeed work, though it sometimes appears to speed up before slowing down.

The fact you can't get his hands to move at all though is odd.

Yeah go slow as the others say, worked for me the second time. (Though the first time my control died and I couldn't for the world understand why nothing happened at all when I pressed everything there was to press. Quite the failure.)
