    Default E3 - RPG News from Nintendo's Conference(New Golden Sun game to be released!)

    RPGamer - News Bulletin - E3 - RPG News from Nintendo's Conference

    Nintendo had a few surprises for RPGamers at the E3 press event that just ended minutes ago. We got bits of new info on existing games, release dates, and a new game announcement.

    First off, a new Golden Sun game is coming to the Nintendo DS. A brief trailer was shown, but no other details about a release date were offered. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is slated for a vague Fall 2009 release. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers for the Wii was featured, and the trailer that was shown complete with English voice acting has this title scheduled for "this winter" in North America. Last of all, the release date for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for the DS has been announced as Sept. 29, 2009. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks wasn't really hit on much other than the fact that it will be playable on the show floor.

    Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

    Okay, overexcitement aside, this is awesome! The trailer looked very good as well. Damn those summons look great in 3D!

    I wonder if there will be some kind of bonus for having The Lost Age in the second slot.

    I'm pretty sure The Lost Age had a code thing too at the end. So they'll probably have a code input or just use the GBA slot to transfer. They can't make it exclusive GBA slot, because now some people only have a DSi.

    Damn, my Golden Sun 1 and 2 were stolen. But now I have a(nother) reason to keep my DS. That's good to hear, bout damn time.

    I loved that little slogan thing in the Golden Sun trailer, 'The Sun rises again'. Definetly the thing I am most excited for after the announcements I've seen so far.

    I saw that on the Press Kit site. Interestingly, it's the only one of three new IPs under the Nintendo section that had a video prepared for it. It's also being developed by Monolith Soft, from what I hear.

    Damn if nintendo really wanted to impress me they'd have those guys at Camalot make a new Shining Force. But Golden Sun DS is pretty great too.
