So, yet again, in a feat of superhuman lack of attention, I stepped on another nail. Went right through my shoe. Stabbed me pretty good, to the point where almost my entire sole was covered with blood. Suffice to say I threw them out, they were pretty old anyway. I used to hate them because they were completely white to the point where I was blinded by looking at them in the sun, but lately I've taken a liking to them because they were older and a lot more comfy than my others.

What was/is your favorite pair of shoes?

Or, optionally, share personal exploits that include stepping on nails. Because I'm sure there is at least one person out there who is at least as inattentive as me.

My favorite shoes are my beat up sneakers that I wear almost every day. They've been with me everywhere!

I saw the little bit about nails through shoes. I saw the attached image image. I was disappointed.

My favourite shoes are my DCs, but they have massive holes in the bottom so I have to buy some more. I use ribbons as laces, depending on the season etc. Christmas and Easter laces are cute.
