Elnoyle card players on disc 1?

I just thought that I had got my hands on all items needed for Squall's Lionheart, but turns out I missed that 2 energy crystals were required for all the pulse ammo needed, and not just one. Oops. Is there anyone on disc 1 still playing the Elnoyle card, even after going to Deling City? (I'm on the mission to assassinate the Sorceress, I just got the Brothers GF.)

I guess I could get Elnoyle cards and if lucky an entire energy crystal from the Elnoyles that appear later on in Esthar city but that's not until like...disc 3 if I recall correctly. Man, been a long time since I played this game.

You can go back to Dollet, right? The pub owner there should play Elnoyle cards somewhat frequently iirc. Also from searching around, this guy seems to have them too:

There's a blonde haired kid in Galbadia Garden running up and down stairs in the area where people occasionally do push-ups.

If you haven't abolished the random rule from Dollet, the latter might give you a lot less trouble.
