This section of the forum has seen the most action its had for a long time since the introduction of Rad Racer as a topic. Don't go questionin' that, it's necessary!
It's because Rad Racer is the s***. Nothing can stand up to that game's radditude. Nothing.
Note that Sega had to drop out of the hardware business in disgrace, and the latest OutRun game is a buggy mess. Meanwhile, Square remains an industry giant. Why? Well, Final Fantasy, yeah. But what gave them the capital to create Final Fantasy in the first place? Rad Racer.
Now they just need to release Rad Racer III: The Raddening.

Sorry to say I didn't care for it, but then racing/driving games have little appeal for me anyway.
i gained 32 more friends on my facebook after i played Rad Racer.
Whoa, I had no idea this was a Squaresoft game, but it made me a very happy little tot. I still have it in my game drawer actually. *needs to find NES*
You know, Square made an Aliens game for the MSX as well. Their only ever licensed game, to my knowledge.
Isn't there a game like this on the Gameboy?
