Connecting a Playstation 2 to a computer monitor?

Is there some sort of cable or adapter I can use to do this? I'm moving into a small dorm next fall and I won't have space for a television.

Aside from a video capture device, I don't think there's anything like a VGA cable you could use to view the PS2 on a monitor, correct me if I'm wrong.

I think they have a few converter boxes to do a direct connection, but knowing these kinds of things you'll likely have to pay out the butt for one. It'd almost be better just to look into a small-ish LCD TV, with the way they've dropped in price.

Are you totally sure you won't have room for a TV? Usually you can get pretty creative with dorm space.

A small LCD TV would be the way I'd go as well. Most new ones these days have DVI or VGA input so you can hook it up to your computer as well.
