Even if Ireland win they'd still need Italy to drop points at home to Cyprus in the last game to have a chance at first place.
Still Cyprus are beating Bulgaria right now and thus pretty much guaranteeing Ireland a playoff place- and I hope Ireland do qualify. They'll be unseeded though and that could mean a game against the likes of France, Russia or maybe Portugal.
England get their additional revenge over Croatia sort of - losing to Ukraine now means that Ukraine will almost certainly be getting the playoff spot rather than Croatia.
