Yes, including two on the same day (Fawcett and Jackson). My goodness...

Billy Mays was featured on the TV series Pitchmen, with Anthony Sullivan. I also remember watching a documentary about TV advertisement products on CNBC, and it said that Mays would supercede Ron Popeil as the most iconic pitchman of all time, but sadly, that won't be the case, because Mays is dead now. I wonder what will become of all of his products now...
    Is that your final answer?

Ed McMahon was old though, 86 if I remember right, and he was fighting cancer. Billy Mays was 51 and I don't think he was sick. What's so shocking is that you'd think a big name actor is gonna die of a drug overdose or a car accident and you flip on the news to see the Oxy-clean dude kicked the bucket.

Farrah Fawcett was fighting cancer too, though.

I didn't know that. Even so, fighting a disease like cancer you have to be prepared for the worst. Her family was probably prepared, unlike Billy Mays'.

I think my point was more of 'no one cares that ed mcmahon died because none of us young'uns ever watched the tonight show when he and johnny carson were doing it.'

Yes, and after seeing Farrah's Story on NBC, it looked grim. Larry King admitted that after seeing what she went through in the documentary, he knew that she would die soon, and everyone else in Hollywood was expecting that. They didn't know exactly when she would die, but they knew it was coming. Everyone was hoping that she could get treatment to prolong how much longer she lives, but knew that eventually, she would succumb to the disease.

I know that. I was just pointing out why no one cares about his death. No one cares that an old guy died, but if someone dies that was unexpected, like Billy Mays or Michael Jackson, then people are all over those stories.

Gosh this is desperately pessimistic. What next, admonishing people for starting topics about a game because it'll eventually end?

Wow, this is getting ridiculous. Should we start betting on who’s going to kick it next?

It’s kind of weird. I saw him and his pal on The Tonight Show a little while ago, and I wondered what it would be like if he, specifically Billy, died in a little bit. I didn’t want him to die of course, I just couldn’t help imagining it.
:bou::bou::bou::bou:, it must be my fault
