(sorry this isnt a guess... but this will just remind people of what the riddle is and NOT get side tracked with random guessing)

Yeah, usually I report riddles on a new page.

Okay, so, it's not a weapon and it's not throw-able but it's for demonstration, you don't need to play a song to get it, and a monster may or may not "taste" it some time soon.

But... but... Far-flung man! I figured you could at least throw it! You're lovin' every minute of this, aren't you?

Can you give us any better hints than you have already?

Far-flung in this case means 'distant'. Well, I worry that my riddles are too easy, but I guess I shouldn't. I'll post a hint below.

There's more than one
Some chocobos CAN fly
Some monsters may feel hungry and have a taste for chocobo!
