Shinra was still utterly destroyed. Though it did take down WEAPON and destroy the barrier....only to fail when depended on again
When moved to Midgar it got a powerup from the reactors and became the Sister RAY.despite my new found strength
...am I right?

Actually it didn't become the sister ray, that is yet another translation error haha, it was already called that in Junon, you can see it on the side of the cannon, also the script doesn't say "we will call it the sister ray"

It doesn't have to be four lines. Sometimes they rhyme, sometimes they're a list. Basically you pick the format, although four lines is traditional.
