Don't give Psy that much credit. If his head got any bigger he couldn't fit in to the forums anymore.
Psychotic thinks he's all that but you know what? He's not.
YES HE IS.
Also, BH. You're on the list now.
Signature by rubah. I think.
Eh, around the time I first joined everything was a little more active, but these days things aren't that tepid as they may seem.
Someone needs to post Loony BoB's golden age of EoFF image.

Boredom controls 20% of my actions.
I feel as though people were more friendly back when I first joined, but probably not - I probably just got on the nerves of some people and it just feels that way. There's always going to be super friendly people on this forum. Except now, instead of The Captain, we have Jiro.
There's also a difference because when I first joined, I got in really fast with the BAoTW folks and it made me feel like I had a huge group of friends to talk to right away. Nowadays, I only talk very often to a few people. xD
I think the main difference is that I feel like I know pretty much everyone and can talk to pretty much any member now, as opposed to back in the first years when I thought Del Murder and ShlupQuack were the most intimidating people on the face of the earth, when I was nubbin' it up hard.
It's about the same nowadays, though.
EoFF has been around long enough to have its own sordid history.
I think it's much more pg13 now than it has been for a while.
I mean Christ I once was setting up a literal EoFF orgy.
It was better back then because of the heightened activity. It felt more like a forum with idiots and a few respectable people, rather than a smashing of idiots who suck each others' proverbial nuts while anticipating an eventual decline and inevitable demise. Everyone knows everyone else here. That's a bad thing.
I don't just frequent this place, I work here. But the wholly uninspirational idea of corporate ownership lack of reward (intrinsic or extrinsic) does not motivate me to contribute more. But the real best part is the constant stream of threads that have to ask if "it was better then." If you have to ask, the answer is immediately self-evident.
