So this is how traffic works. At the exact time I'm getting ready to go anywhere, my stirrings set off the jerkface idiot alarm. This is a silent alarm that can be heard only by jerkface idiots. So they all run to their vehicles, foaming at the mouth, and do everything they can to find and kill me while I'm traveling, but they also do their best to pretend they aren't.

So far I've been lucky. But everyday is a gamble.

I have a theory of equilibrium when it comes to traffic, namely:

If one parkway that I travel upon is lightly trafficked, the other parkway is full of traffic, the balance it out. There are no exceptions to this rule, ever, except on Fridays, which is when there is absolutely zero traffic on all parkways. And always on Fridays.
