    Default Tougher than Nails!

So, playing through my newest FFTA2 game, I have gone through the game with as few experience gaining sidequests as possible (deliveries and such are ok, because they don't level my characters), and been using as few combatants as I can in the battle missions. A setup, which, BTW, utterly cripples you when you need to fight. No loot from excess missions means no Bazaar items, which means you're stuck with cruddy starter gear and starter classes. Analyzing loot tables for the few mobs I do fight and restarting till I get good drops is the only thing keeping me alive. I'm doing this to get my special characters (Frimelda especially) at as low a level as possible to stat train intensively.

Anyway, back to the topic. I normally run with as many characters on my team as allowed, but when doing solo battles, I noticed something odd about the Opportunity Command system. Normally the Opportunities switch up based on what enemies/allies surround you. If your character is all by themselves (no one direcly adjacent to them), they get the Command "Tough as Nails!", which applies Shell and Protect. However, when running solo, that command seems to switch to "Tougher than Nails!", and it applies Reraise instead. This has made me wonder, has anyone else noticed any other changes to the Opportunity commands besides the basic ones under particular circumstances?
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

I can't say that I have. It has been awhile since I played FFTA2 though. I do remember the one you are talking about though. I should go back and play the game again. Try to trigger all the commands by putting the character(s) in different situations.
