The first one I ever bought with my own money was Hybrid Theory and Reanimation from Linkin Park (at the same time). The first one I ever asked my mommy and daddy to buy for me is--now don't laugh at me--Millenium - Backstreet Boys

The first time I ever bought a CD was last year, and I actually bought two. They were Hold Conversation and Other Voices, Other Rooms both by The Getaway Plan. I don't remember the first CD ever bought for me but I have a sneaking suspicion it was Backstreet's Back by Backstreet Boys

They see me rolling. They hating, patrolling.
Trying to catch me riding dirty.

The first music I remember buying with my own money were two single CDs: Britney Spears – Oops... I Did It Again, and Aqua – Around The World.

I actually have to agree with this. I think I bought it with my birthday money.

It was that or the lion king cassette.

Those are the earliest ones I remember buying.

Bad by Michael Jackson. I bought it in Yugoslavia on vinyl before the war... so it wasn't broken or shot, yay.

I think that was in 1988, which makes me old.

David Kersh - Goodnight Sweetheart was the first album I bought, in 1998. I don't think David Kersh even records anymore.
