True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
lol
I was amazed how many of these were created in my lifetime.
....I liked Totoro and all, but WTF? HOW did it beat out Mononoke? HOW DAMMIT!
And the shreks were awesome, but there are so many better movies out there.
AND WHERE THE HELL IS LUPIN III: CASTLE OF CAGLIOSTRO!
Bah, it wasn't as bad as you made it sound xD
It was terrible, I don't care what anyone says, Dreamworks and Pixar are not that good when you compare it to over 50 years of Disney, not to mention Miyazaki's films.
Bolt coming in at #3 and The Incredibles scoring lower than Cars is just unacceptable.

List voted for by the public is crap - shock!
Though what's with people here gasping about Totoro outranking stuff, it's possibly Miyazaki's best film! And that's high praise indeed.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Ignore the rankings for a minute and look at what did make it on there (because no one will ever be happy with the rankings). From the way you made it sound in your first post, I'm surprised I saw anything pre-2000 on there, let alone a bunch of Miyazaki films.
And I will go on record as saying that the majority of Pixar's movies are better than anything Disney has done in years, and head and shoulders above many of their older classics. In fact, the only reason I can even stand watching some of the much older Disney movies is because I either grew up with them, or I cut them some slack for when they were made. Pixar pretty much are the modern Disney minus the music and fairy tales.
WHERE THE smurf ARE THE POKEMON MOVIES???????????
I'm actually more miffed about the Disney films cause I feel quite the opposite. Granted, I was pleasantly surprised by the boon of Miyazaki films but I've never had a real love for Pixar; I find their films to be either hit or miss with me and I can honestly say I feel I'm the only person on the planet who apparently didn't like Toy Story.
I'm still trying to figure out why Cinderella made it when other classic Disney films were much better in terms of... well everything really.

Decent selection of movies, but in an utterly bizarre order.
I am actually not surprised by Miyazaki's presence given the relationship between Studio Ghibli and Disney. I would say that despite its age Princess Mononoke is one of his better films. But that's just me.
Also, I've seen Up and while it is a good movie, I would hardly say it is the best animated film.
Oh my god WHAT? I got up to Cars and couldn't read any more. Awful, hideous, terrible list. Jesus.
