spnt all day on a boat, i had one to many and thought i would hop out of the boat going full speed, dont do that it hurt way worse than i thought it would but still had a good time

Now you mention it, I think in parts of the country there is a small celebration the day we got liberated. But it's not such a big thing.

Granted I was invited a few places. But COMEDY was on! I never get to see World's Dumbest. I've -seen- fireworks ;]

I 'celebrated' the independence of the most overatted country in the world, and I must say, it was more fun than I thought, considering I amused half-drunk 50-somethings with my delightfully poor croquet skills. (I was beaten by a five year-old.)

we missed the fireworks display by 24 hours, but the cookout was nice 8)

I saw Away We Go and watched minimal fireworks from the car on the ride home.
