I hate British English so much.

I dont' think I'd be able to spell maneuver. manoeuvre makes sense from a francophone point of view, however, and thus is easy to spell. Viva standard rules of spelling!

As far as color vs. colour, all I have to say is

the implication of course is that even the british are doing it wrong, so you might as well go all the way instead of just half-assing being wrong.
