Thread: Traveling across the atlantic

    Traveling across the atlantic

As I am going across the ocean tonight for 2 weeks to study in Cambridge, I was packing my suitcase when it occurred to me that the word "color" has a 'u' in it in their version of English.

So which one is better to use EoFF, color or colour? Firefox says color is better, but Firefox also said Ivysaur is not a word so I have some apprehension blindly following it, and the internet HAS to know the answer.

Colour is the correct spelling, only those pesky colonials drop the "U." Firefox is sypathetic to subversive revolutionaries.

Let me ask you this, qwerty. Does Pokemon have a U in it? Think about it.

The Americans can't help it if they have to dumb down their language for illegal aliens.

Look at me, I beamed right into Logan Airport and all I had to do to slip by undetected was wear a sombrero. Also I may have killed a few people when I landed.

    Coulour, oubviously.

And here I thought this thread would be of substance and actually talk about crossing the Atlantic. Sad, sad.

Is it dishonourable to belabour the thought of spelling it 'Poukémoun'?

Yes, very dishonorable. Nobody will Pokemourn your passing. *dodges rotten vegetables*

    It's color.

Why do you think those British pansies lost the war?

  10. #10
Because, uh... we let you win! You better not make trouble, or we might have to let you win all over again.

Ergh. With no u, it just doesn't seem right. It's like seeing spelling mistakes everywhere

    Color is already taken imo.

I spell it "colour" - I guess because that's what I learned in school, although at the end of the day I speak more American-English than English-English.

Australians are the descendants of rapists and purse snatchers.

I am offended by this because one could easily steal the purse after the rape, or steal the purse and beat the soon to be rape victim with it, knocking them out and making for a hassle free rape. They shouldn't have do to one or the other. Reach for the stars!
