I just got back from a party to which my "ex" was also invited. It was extremely awkward, at first. We couldn't make contact, we barely said anything to each other, and for a while she thought that I was either pissed or hated her. Kind of ironic, seeing as how I was looking forward to talking to her. After a while, everyone left except for the core members of our old group of friends and we ended up hanging out for a good 2 hours, until we walked her back home.

Overall, it was a good experience. I don't know where it goes from here, though, if anywhere at all. We just said our goodbyes and that was that.
