So the other day I was confronting my mom because she's already wanting to replace Cat (who ran away from home a week ago to live with the local Crazy Cat Man) and seems to think we NEED a new cat. When I told her I wanted to wait a while first so I can take time to get over Cat running away and collect myself, she told me I need to think of the other 8 people in the house other than myself (I cried aloud with mirth and merriment we only have 7 others besides me, lrn2math), I said "oh so you're just going to press the issue?" and you know what her response was? Stomping away in a huff, but before stomping away, she did this familiar gesture:



Yes. CelesMama decided, in a moment of great emotional turmoil, to use her greatest weapon: she gave me the hand.

Even now, three days after the fact, I get a good chuckle out of it. Though I know if I told her she'd just get upset and stomp away... Or, she might even give me The Hand yet again...
