Do you like it anywhere? (SPOILER)sorry couldn't resist

Personally, strawberry all the way baby. Although seedless blackberry jam is pretty amazing.

Because I'm one hell of a butler.

    The difference is simple.

Jelly is different from Gelatin in that Jelly is made with pectin, a plant derived gelling agent mixed with the juice of the desired fruit. Gelatins use collegens, an animal byproduct that is heavally processed.

Europe and Australia use Jelly as a short word for Gelatin, while American names vary and incluse Gels, Jello, and simple Gelatin.

Including the peel in the mixture also changes the preserve into a marmalade.

Anyway the correct answer to the question is Raspberry Jam on Toast or a bagel with cream cheese.
To further expand on this if you mix the fruit juice, zest and sugar with beaten egg yolks and then let that cool it becomes a CURD such as Lemon Curd which is used in sandwiches and stuff like pastry cakes.

To be honest you can get "smooth" jam which is exactly the same as American Jelly so the differential is moot.

I prefer Blackberry Jelly (smooth jam) because it's awesome. Though Strawberry is very cool too.

Strawberry, anyone who disagrees is a commie.
