trouble on last boss!!

Has anyone ever had trouble on the last boss in FF9? I was lv 78 and the last boss wiped my whole party except my main char. Zidane. its incredibly hard, its like they expect you to be lv 99. but I'm surprised I still beat this game, Zidane has auto regen and some other thing which helped me out a LOT. I was doing 2000 every turn

you need to get as many anti-status-effect skills equipped on your party as you can. the one big trick is to get autoregen on everyone and then cast long summons, because you keep getting regen throughout the summon.
