I forget who already, but someone mentioned both Secret of Mana and CT were the reasons they got involved in jRPGs. while i was growing up, as most younger brothers do, i basically worshiped my brother as an idol and everything he did was just simply the coolest thing ever to do, in the history of the world. And he played SoM. so i lived, breathed, and bathed in that game for many years. i think ive beaten it perhaps twenty times through from scratch.

I, unfortunately came to CT much later through emulation on my lappy. it was the original SNES emulation, so i got the original stuff. For me translation has never particularly bothered me, and graphics never have expectations. SoM and TC have been deep rooted favorites of mine for the SNES. as for all RPGs, I need to bow my head to Xenogears for having an original idea for battle play (which CT kinda did as well) And such a complex and compelling plot. Im replaying it right now and am currently in Solaris, bringing down the "monarchy" of Cain...
