Today ciddies lets discuss the mental illness' of our hero cloud.
He obviously has at least one considering he combined his and zack's lives into one "cloud". He truly believed that what Zack had done in Niebelheim were his deeds (although some of them were). My money is on some form of schizophrenia.
What are do you think?
And what are your feelings about having a hero who is at least some what insane?
My Cloud was really insane during my last playthrough. Afterall, he though his name was Zidane. /sigh
Schizophrenia, Disorganized/Paranoid subtype.
Disassociation Personality Disorder.
Amnesia due to sever PTSD.
Those are a few of the obvious basics.

though he would have been perfectly fine had he not been Mako poisoned during his incarceration in ShinRa Mansion... they're hardly inherent to Cloud but rather a byproduct of abuse and poisoning... i say abuse because i'm sure he went through some kind of physical trauma from Hojo's experiments in manipulating his DNA with strains from JENOVA...
I always wonder why, when he's subconsciously imitating Zack, he acts like a total prick, but when he acts like "himself" towards the end of the game, he's nicer and more sociable (ie much more like Zack than in the first half of the game)
mabey he's angry because his memory is smurfed up
and i agree, i'd say the mako poisoning has a lot to do with it.
