Minority Rule Voting Game!
I was going to be polite and wait for Laddy to finish his Social Council Game but that looks like it might take a while.
So I will start another game called...MINORITY RULE! (If you have seen the Liar Game manga/drama series then you will be familiar with the basic rules of this game.)
Basic Rules:
Every round participants will vote on a yes/no question (the question itself is arbitrary) However unlike a majority rule, where the one with the most votes wins, the people who voted for the minority answer will pass through to the next round. (eg. if there were 4 votes yes, and 6 votes no, then everyone who voted no would be knocked out). Hopefully we can play multiple games of Minority rule. The games can be quite short as over 50% of contestants are knocked out every round. When you win a game you get 20 points. By default everyone starts with 60 points
So how is it possible to win!?
So maybe you can lie and make deals with people to get them to vote for what you want them to vote for by-
Contracts:
Simply put you can write up a 'contract' in the following format:
I will give (name) (number) points if (he/she) votes (yes/no)
eg:
I will give blackmage_nuke 5 points if he votes yes
You must foward this in a pm to both me and the person it concerns. Unfortunately I can not handle contracts any more complex than this or else it would get really slow/confusing. You can have as many contracts as you like as long as the points you promise dont exceed how many points you have. You can also have more than one name on a contract:
I will give (name1) and (name2) (number) points each if (he/she) votes (yes/no)
Other stuff:
What happens if you forget to vote for a round?
Then you are eliminated from that game (But anyone who has signed up is automatically included at the begining of every game)
What happens if there is a tie?
Then the round starts again (those who didnt vote are still eliminated) and in the event there is a tie 3 times in a row then the points are divided amongst the remaining contestants and any remaining points are added to the prize in the next game.
Are the votes revealed at the end of every round?
Yes including who voted for what.
What happens if no one votes?
If it is the first round of the game and no one votes then everyone is eliminated and all points are added onto the prize for the next round. If no one votes on any round after the first round then the prize is split amongst the remaining contestants and the remainder is added to the prize for the next round. If no one votes on the first round for 3 games in a row then the entire game ends.
So eventually this may become a - who is the most active/idle game.
Each round goes for 48 hours or until everyone has voted.
