Dammit, and I though today sucked ass in Texas. A'yo, this morning, it was Storming for an hour. An hour later, the smurfin' sun is shining like we haven't had water in months! Four hours later, more smurfin' rain clouds with no rain! An hour later, the sun's shining again! Give me a smurfin' break son!!!!! And now Peeg's coming here? smurf this...I'm out...
If you come through oklahoma peeg, and I see you. I will punch you in the face, I promise.
Why did you even choose the South, PG? Why...! It's the worst place in the country!
San Antonio is where it's at, especially Riverwalk, it's so pretty!
No the correct answer is it's the best place in the country at least the south east is
Bad laddy
texas is mostly southwest though (suckage)
Also a little somthing, im in AZ bout 5 hours from texas and 10 min from californa just thought id mention that its 12 a.m. and its 102 degrees
The only good things about the southeast is that the cost of living is low compared to other parts of America and the fact that factories still exist in that part of the country. Though I will say that the people down south tend to be a bit more friendly, unless you're a transpecist such as myself, they don't take kindly to winged equine. Or Jews.

Nah Texas has some good parts to it, I was shocked to learn this as well.
It's actually very diverse, some parts are very Cali-ish in terms of the bleeding heart liberalism and others are still trapped in 1957. Then of course you got Dallas which is nothing like the rest of Texas.
The north part of Texas is awful, Amarillo is terrible :<

I'm not even from the US but Texas?
Really?
It's not about balls, it's impractical. Texas may have a fairly large economy within itself but it'd be left defenseless after the feds shut down/demolish the military bases and Mexico would make Texas bend over and take it even more than they do now. Plus again Texas is too culturally diverse for everyone to share that mindset and either they'd go back to the U.S. or divide themselves into substates, since they're large enough. But given the history of hotheaded Texan politicians combined with polarized views both politically and secede issue wise, I'm sure some sort of civil war (not necessarily a violent one) would ensue eventually.
Rick Perry only said that to show that he didn't want another Democrat as president and was showboating.

they could still have the natinal gaurd bases those are state owned.
But considering the might of the federal military i dont thing any state could secede unless the federal government let it. and just like in the last civil war they wont let it cause they want that tax money.
True about the National Guard, and we all know how lax the gun laws are in Texas, for better or worse.
It would be interesting if nothing else to see if they'd survive on their own.

I don't care, they can have Texas.
(Though I would totally help free Texan EoFFers first, though!)
