The stone refers to the Gulug Stone and the soul, umm, umm. the talking heads?

The reflection of his home refers to the holograms projecting Terra before their civilization was destroyed.

ok i think i got it. It is the chocobo he once was in chocobo paradise a long time ago he must find stones the chocograph pieces.A soul which would pertain to his changing colors and further abilities or it could be his trainer and the reflection of my home is there because he gets the first glimpse of paradise by finding the first chest near the water reflective surface. he always feels so close by continually seeing it but never actually gets there

It's Zidane. He's talking about Terra. When he returns to Terra, he's looking everywhere for a genome that isn't just an empty vessel. He eventually finds Mikoto; the only other genome with a soul (minus Kuja), and she comes back with Zidane when they escape Terra. She's a reflection of his soul
