convenient: Phoenix casting if you (somehow) die after your party's wiped out

Convenient: The Abilities "Level Up" and "Ability Up".
Annoying/inconvenient: Ragtime Mouse and those stupid "friendly" monsters.
Conveninent: Nostalgic battle feel.
Annoying: Long battle intros, we get it, it's a Bomb!

Convenient: Knowing the names of most of NPCs.
Annoying: Not knowing the names of important NPCs until they introduce themselves. (how do we magically know the names of NPCs with no impact on the plot?)
Convenient: Tons of sidequests and special events to keep you entertained when you just want to spend time leveling and ignore the main quest.
Inconvenient: The one time item events that you missed cause IX has the worst official strategy guide of any game period...

Convenient: I never got short of money in this game, I guess all the stuff was super cheap..
Inconvenient: The playstation always freezing up in the FMV scenes..

To be original, however, I would say...
Convenient: Being able to have super awesome equips from Chocographs really early.
Annoying:Not ever being able to remember if the boss in Ispen's castle needs weak weapons or notNOT ENOUGH QUINA!
Convenient: Having a really cool cast of characters who are all actually really useful in battle
Inconvenient: Being unable to remove Zidane from my party so I can actually make a party full of characters I want.

Convenient: Trance appears during a boss fight and deals massive damage
Annoying: The boss dies due to this massive damage when im trying to steal the rare items

I guess in a way its a CONVENIENCE that you can open up the ps1 lid and close it to skip said fmvs lolInconvenient: The playstation always freezing up in the FMV scenes..
inconvenient: when bosses have good weapons but yet the steal chance is less than 1% even when all other items have been stolen (even with the skill that increases steal chance)
Convenient: My brother put in a cheat disc and saved over my game and Quina was level "#$", whatever that means. She couldn't get hurt, die, and did 9999 damage with the weakest weapon and got to trance almost every battle.
Annoying: The other side effect of said cheat disc usage made it so that every time i used Quina in battle, her health dropped to 5 before each battle, she had no stone thingies to use for abilities, and all of her blue magic was gone. True she couldn't get hurt/die but come on, I played for literally days to get all of that blue magic!!
Convenient: Zidane, Freya, Quina, Vivi. Best party ever.
Inconvenient: Zidane, Eiko, Dagger, Quina. Worst party ever.
