<b>Zero Dark Thirty - 3/5</b>

The first half hour or so of this movie was hard to watch with the torture scenes. I really thought the last act of the movie was well done. Even though I knew how it turned out, it still managed to be suspenseful.

<b>Les Misérables - 1/5</b>

I broke my no Russel Crowe rule by watching this movie... Actually, my wife and I are in the process of watching all the movies that were nominated for best picture this year.

This movie was 2 1/2 hours, it felt more like 5. Russel Crowe in extreme close up singing at me... It'll be a long time before I can get that out of my head.
