Such a beautiful movie that I just got through watching. It really represents just about all of these human emotions. It's also something to keep in mind if you having a bit troubling with your own and dealing with others who're in the same position.

Really when people get too riled up or nash out at someone think about how you felt when you watched a good and moving film, maybe how a character in it felt in such a situation, or just plainly feel and realize that it's frivolous to get so upset over such minor things.

    Jeepers Creepers 5/10
I hate it for pulling a Trick 'r Treat and Descent on me (SPOILER)by having over half the movie being non-supernatural only to add some stupid weird creature in the second half, but there are many elements I like as well. Decent acting, good amount of time spent on building characters and quite creepy first half. The last 30 minutes were kinda crappy and the ending was very predictable.

    Slumdog Millionaire
Not going to rate it since it's hard to be unbiased with movies who are praised as much as this one is. Good characters, exciting story. I'm generally not a fan of "It's my destiny" stories, so I found chunks of the movie to be very cheesy and unrealistic, but overall a good movie.

Black Swan and The Last Exorcism.

I really liked Black Swan. I hope Natalie wins something besides my thumbs up and jaunty wink for it. The trailer made me think it would be slightly different than it was, and for once that turned out to be a good thing.

Exorcism was good until its end. I feel like it went for a final scare type of situation. Had it ended just about 10 minutes sooner and left what was left, I would have liked it better. The journey there was nice, though. I guess I'll never grow tired of contrived reasons to make people turn on a weak camera light and walk around dark places. It's like watching Hide-and-Seek the Movie, except with death.

Of course she'll win something. Her and Annette Benning are shoe-ins, but I think it's pretty safe to say she will win it. The Best Actress, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actors Oscars are always fairly predictable.

    Good Dick

    6/10

I didn't know what to expect from this indie gem. Like many indie films the script was unique and quirky. There were really awkward parts in the film, but the characters themselves were awkward and deranged. The title is misleading though there is a lot of porn watching in the film. The one woman is a shut-in who goes to the video store where a clerk (who likes her for some reason) to buy soft-core porn which when then later find out why she doesn't like porn with penetration as if we couldn't guess from all the other obvious hints throughout the film as to what it could be. But yeah, I thought it was an interesting script. Well acted by the writer/director who stars in it. The soundtrack for the film is horrible though.

    The Other Woman

    5/10

Lisa Kudrow is really good a playing at bish lately like in Easy A and now this. You kinda eventually feel bad for her because Natalie Portman's character "steals" her man and basically walks around telling people her baby died every five seconds and then cursing them out. The little boy was annoying. The funniest moment in an otherwise unfunny film aside from him examining poop, is when he's talking and then Natalie's character is just like, "SHUT UP". She also feeds him ice cream despite him being lactose intolerant and then he s himself. Yeah, it's a great film...

    Lawrence of Arabia

He takes a bullet and hardly flinches.

He walks 20 days through the worst kind of desert and comes out smiling.

He takes a whipping without the bat of an eyelash.

But when an older man touches his chest a little too intimately, he blows his cover. Anything but the gay.

I was actually surprised. I still think it was odd as ever but it was interesting. Held my attention at least. Very reminiscent of alice in wonderland. It was very stylish though. What an odd but interesting and very pretty movie. So odd.

I'm a fan of the comic books its based on and must say overall the film is okay. Its most lacking quality being in casting Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim. He was just not the right guy to choose for this role cause the kid is like John Wayne or Owen Wilson. He basically is the same character in every movie I've ever seen him in and he does whiny angst and awkward nerd in all of his films. Scott is suppose to be a hyperactive goofball with an out of control ego.
I actually like Cera and don't mind his mild-mannered role after role after role. I think he does it well, so I usually don't care. But after reading the books, I must agree he wasn't the right choice. Scott is pretty hyper-emotional, and Michael just can't live up to that task. He far from ruins the film, but the book-Scott was above his acting ability to be frank.

    Inception

Great movie, but much like Avatar I didn't think it lived up to it's hype. Great acting and intriguing storyline though, and kept me wondering what the hell was actually going on, and if there was going to be a mega twist in the end. Really beautiful movie too. I'm glad to see some of these actors Nolan snatched for his Batman 3 movie, and am a bit more excited seeing how well they portrayed their characters in Inception.

Exit Through the Gift Shop - Fantastic!! Hilarious and highly fascinating at the same time. One of the best documentaries I've seen.

I saw "The Girl that Leapt Through Time" (TGTLTT) and "Pan's Labyrinth" recently.

    4/10 (too cutesy for me)
TGTLTT was a decent movie. It's similar in theme to many other movies that follow the idea of changing one or two things in the past can cause dramatic effects to the future timeline. It used that story line in the theme of a romantic comedy. It was story driven, and got a little slow here or there. The artwork was fair, and many backgrounds were very well done. If a friend had it and wanted to watch it I would again. I don't see me bothering to rent it again on my own.

    7/10
Pan's Labyrinth was even more dark than I expected. I enjoyed the acting, and the special effects. The story line was a little murky, but nothing impossible to follow. I would definitely watch this movie again. It's not going to be in my favorites, but it's very enjoyable.

Finally got around to watching Black Swan and I'm ashamed it took me so long to actually get out and do so. Fantastic movie, though a bit flawed in places (mostly for reasons Shiny detailed previously). Still manages to be shocking and wonderful though.

ThanksKilling. It about a fowl-mouthed () turkey that kills people on Thanksgiving.

    "Nice tits, bitch!"

    Best line in the movie.

I could hardly make it through half of this movie. It's so awful. You all should watch it.
